So.........................

So i have not posted to this blog in awhile, not sure why, haven't really had much to say I suppose...
and I still don't... because there is really nothing new happening...wish there was, because then this post wouldn't seem so pointless...

Well there is that facebook craze that everyone is talking about... apparently it is "addicting" or whatever... don't really see how yet... perhaps i am in denial or just not hooked yet i dunno, never been addicted to anything so how would I know if I am addicted right??

Anways... guess that is all for now...

perhaps I will have something differnet to say later.... perhaps
till then this has been:

The Office Dwight Schrute Mix

You have to love Dwight, here are some classic dwight clips from the past 3 seasons, i hear the actor is getting tired of playing him and thinking of leaving the show... but i really hope that is not true because I could watch Dwight for the rest of my life

Don't cha wish your boyfriend was hot like me

So I went to the Pussycat doll concert last night.... and before you get any weird ideas, I had free tickets (one of the perks of the job you know).

Anyways, it was actually a good time, very interesting performance, it was more like a glorified burlesque show with less clothes but, like i said, free tickets.

I must say i fell in love with one of the "backup singers/dancers" at the show, her name is Ashley and she is just stunning... so I was considering taking up the part time job of being her stalker... so that will be an intersting life chapter for me, anyways gotta run, Ashley is just waking up in her hotel room now, later

The Power of the Tie

They can be a powerful tool, let me explain...

This is something I have noticed since having to wear a suit to work everyday.

This is going to be hard to put into words so bear with me...

I think the best way to explain is it to tell the story of the first time I felt I had harnessed the power of the tie, and I didn't even know i could do it.

On my way home from work, I stopped at the grocery store to get something and was of course, still wearing the suit and tie. Of course people look at you funny, but I mean that is expected. I had been to this particular grocery store several other times, in street clothes. It doesn't not very good service, but come on its a grocery store, as long as they can ring the stuff in its all good, and its close to home, but I digress. In this particular incident I had about 3 staff members come ask me if I wanted help, and several people who had less stuff then I did asked me if i wanted to go ahead of them (I said no thank you of course)

I didn't really figure it all out till later, it was the TIE! I realize this shouldn't be such a shock to me considering the shallow looks based society we live in but its weird how one little peice of cloth can change things.

And I know what your thinking but i have been back to that store several times in street clothes since then and no such service was offered. I've noticed more suddle things on other occasions as well...

I guess its true what they say "Girls really go crazy bout' a sharp dressed man"

For Channel 6 News, I'm Kent Brockman

My last post was kind of serious, not to mention kind of a downer, so i thought i would lighten things up with some Kent Brockman quotes... and underated Simpsons character, but a funny one nonetheless

A bloody end for Homer Simpson...is just one of several possible outcomes according to our computer simulation. Now here is how it would look if the police killed him with a barrage of baseballs." -- Kent Brockman

Kent Brockman- "Professor, without knowing precisely what the danger is, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?"
Professor- "Yes I would, Kent."

And in environmental news, scientists have announced that Springfield's air is now only dangerous to children and the elderly." -- Kent Brockman

Hello, I'm Kent Brockman, and welcome to another edition of 'Smartline'. Are cartoons too violent for children? Most people would say 'No. Of course not. What kind of stupid question is that?' But one woman says 'yes'...Marge Simpson." -- Kent Brockman

Ladies and gentlemen, uh, we've just lost the picture, but what we've seen speaks for itself. The Corvair spacecraft has apparently been taken over- 'conquered' if you will- by a master race of giant space ants. It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive Earthman or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves." -- Kent Brockman

A different point of view

Now I am not a scientist, I don't pretend to be one, but it seems like every politician is these days with all this talk about global warming, like I said I am not a scientist, I don't know if it's true or not, but with all this talk about the end of the world, I think it's important people look at it from another angle...

For some differnt views on Global Warming check out the following links:

Like i said earlier, I am not a Scientist but it seems all the fear mongering media wants to focus on is the ultimate doom of the planet (end of the world sells better)

CARTOONS

Just some cartoons I thought people might enjoy from my favorite comic "strip" called The Far Side
