Sometimes, truth is Stranger than fiction

It comes pretty close to being my favorite movie, #2 for sure with potential to be #1, it's called "Stranger Than Fiction."

On the surface the movie is about a man who hears a woman narrating his life to him and he is forced to deal with it. But my person interpretation is its about a man who mostly just keeps to himself, doesn't personally bother anybody who throughout the course of the movie is forced to come to terms with his life, and gallantly face the inevitable.

What I am trying to say is it is a really good movie and I highly recomend it (it's on dvd right now).

Maybe you won't like it, and that's cool, this type of movie doesn't do it for everyone.

Will Ferrell does an amazing dramatic acting job and throws some comedy in there for good measure, after all this is the funniest man on earth we are talking about...

Maybe I like it so much because I feel like Harold Crick sometimes, and it shows hope, haha

But yeah like I said definetly worth checking out, even for the casual movie go'er.

P.S.- My favorite movie of all time at this point in time is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" in case you were wondering

Homer how we love thee version 2

Just some more homer quotes... feel free to add...

Homer: You're selling what, now?
Apu: I am selling only the concept of karmic realignment.
Homer: You can't sell that! Karma can only be portioned out by the cosmos.
Apu: He's got me there.

Marge: Homer! There's someone here who can help you...
Homer: Is it Batman?
Marge: No, he's a scientist.
Homer: Batman's a scientist?!
Marge: It's not Batman!

Homer: A woman is a lot like a refrigerator. 6 feet tall, 300 pounds ... it makes ice.

Homer: Now this next song goes out to a very specail lady .. she's over 2, 000 feet tall and weighs over a 1,000 tons.
Man: Oh my god, this monsterous woman will devour us all! (dives away into the ocean)
Homer: I was talking about the statue ...

Homer: Bart, with $10,000, we'd be millionaires! We could buy all kinds of useful things like...love!

Homer: I'm like that guy who single-handedly built the rocket & flew to the moon. What was his name? Apollo Creed?

Marge: Homer, I don't want you driving around in a car you built yourself. Homer: You can sit there complaining, or you can knit me some seat belts.

Marge: I'm worried about the kids, Homey. Lisa's becoming very obsessive. This morning I caught her trying to dissect her own raincoat.
Homer: I know. And this perpetual-motion machine she made today is a joke. It just keeps going faster and faster.
Marge: And Bart isn't doing very well either. He needs boundaries and structure. There's something about flying a kite at night that's so unwholesome. [Looks out window]
Bart: [creepily] Hello, mother dear.
Marge: That's it, we have to get them back to school.
Homer: I'm with you, Marge. Lisa. Get in here. [Lisa walks in]
Homer: In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics.

Me and My Gang

I finally got around to putting a picture of my radio classmates on here, from left to right it is Kristen, Danielle, Matt (me), Zach and Jordan.

Zach and Jordan are currently interning in Whitecourt, Alberta, Kristen is sticking around for the advanced television course and Danielle moved back to Killam, Alberta, hopefully getting a job at a nearby radio station.

I am slugging it out here in Kindersley at Mix 104... co-hosted my first morning show with Mike Henshel (yes, all of you briarcrest alumni THAT Mike Henshel) this morning, doing it again tomorrow, not the biggest fan of the waking up at 4 AM thing but whatever, i only have to do it once in awhile and its really fun.
I also did my first person to person interviews last night at the Kindersley Buisness Awards, I was kind of nervous about it, but turns out most people like being interviewed by the media (especially in small towns) so it wasn't so bad.

This is just me smiling like a idiot for some reason....
